Service Learning

At Armbrae Academy, we believe it is important to understand and accept our social and civic responsibilities. We willingly offer our knowledge, skills, and abilities to the community that supports us. Although we are motivated by a desire to help the community, we recognize that these activities also provide the opportunity for individual growth and development.

All students at Armbrae Academy are required to complete service learning. In the Junior school, students are involved in class projects such as writing letters to veterans for Remembrance Day, conducting a school yard clean up or visiting a nursing home. In the Senior School, students are responsible for choosing their own activity, and recording their hours using Armbrae's online system.
