Student supervision is included in tuition and available from 8-8:30 am and from 3-5:30 pm. Our after school co-ordinator supervises a mix of qualified University and Armbrae Senior students in unstructured playtime on our wonderful schoolyard, on the turf, and in the Armbrae woods. We believe it is important for students to have this unstructured active time and strive to have them outside in all but extreme weather.
Armbrae also offers a daily Study Hall program. Supervised by our Librarian and Learning Strategist, students can complete homework, work on projects, or just read quietly in our library with support for learning available from a host of supervisors.

The Junior Robotics Team meets two afternoons a week. The team participates in the First Lego League (FLL) Robotics competition, and for the past several years has brought trophies home from the Provincial Championships at Acadia University. In 2017 the team traveled to Bath, England, and competed in the International Open Championship.
Lessons & Special Programs
Music, Mandarin and Spanish lessons and a variety of special programs are also available at an additional cost. These offerings include a variety of sports programs, Mad Science, and Home Alone and Babysitting Certification workshops. Students are retrieved from playtime by instructors and returned to a supervisor after their lessons, saving you an extra trip.
