Full-Time Junior School (Elementary) Teacher

We are seeking applications for the position of a full-time Junior School (Elementary) Teacher. This position reports to the Junior School Director.

Start Date: August 26th, 2019 for the academic year 2019 / 2020.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science and a Bachelor of Education
  • Experience teaching Elementary Grades
  • Prepare materials for lectures and presentations
  • Assign, correct and grade homework assignments, classroom work and tests and quizzes
  • Issue 2 sets of interim reports and two end of term reports
  • Supervise classes carefully to ensure all students are learning in a safe, constructive environment
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, etc.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular school activities
  • Other duties as assigned by the Junior School Director and/or the Head of School

  • Experience teaching French in a senior school environment
  • Experience teaching French with creative and exciting programming
  • Prepare materials for lectures and presentations

  • Supervise classes carefully to ensure all students are learning in a safe, constructive environment
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, etc.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular school activities
