2012 John Stone Award
Armbrae Academy is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2012 John Stone Award. The award was established in 2010 to recognize the qualities of humanity, empathy, ethics, respect for the dignity of others and/or service to others. Students apply for the award by presenting a case for a humanitarian leadership opportunity. This could be through an existing organization, or a project of their own design. This year's winner is Stephanie Robertson-Kempton, a Grade 11 student who feels passionately about supporting the Cambodia Arts and Scholarship Foundation. Stephanie's project will aid in the education of girls and young women who are typically excluded from educational opportunities.
